Support the SMS students and teachers by showing that you value your child’s education by joining the PTA. Memberships start at $13 and students are only $7 with a parent membership! As a benefit to members only, you will have access to an online directory as well as PTA member discounts. Student members receive special discounts during our spring and fall socials and have the opportunity to be involved in leadership opportunities. 
Every Wednesday starting on August 20th during lunch, students will be able to purchase school supplies and spirit items at the School Store. Please bring cash!
We need parents volunteers to help run the store. Please make sure you are VOLY-approved and sign up HERE to volunteer.

Come to Open House on Monday, August 18th from 6pm - 7:30pm. Follow your student's schedule to meet all of their teachers.
Look also for the PTA table to buy spirit wear and join the PTA.
The Plano Wildcat High School lacrosse team is hosting 3 free clinics for boys and girls in grades K-12 on Aug. 16, 23, and Sept. 7.
We have teams for all grades and even high school kids can join lacrosse and be a part of a competitive state varsity program!

As we get ready for school to start, here are some important dates:
Monday, August 4, 9am - 12noon: Cub Camp for 6th graders. Come and stay event for students with optional session for parents.
Monday, August 4, 1pm - 4pm: Panther Preview for 7th and 8th graders. Come and go.
Walk your schedules, pick up pre-ordered school supplies and spirit wear, get your ID.
Thursday, August 7, 5pm - 7pm: Panther Family Picnic. See your friends, walk your schedule, enjoy some food
Tuesday, August 12 - First Day of School!
All PTA accounts become inactive on June 30th every year. Upon visiting our website home page after July 1, you will be prompted to update your parent and student information each year. All students need to come to school with the following items
on Friday, May 23rd:
Chromebook with Case and Chromebook Charger
Yearbooks and a pen/marker (6th & 7th grade only)
Backpacks will NOT be allowed on the last day of school
Remember to pick up your students early! They will be dismissed from school at 12:40pm.
