JOIN THE AWARD-WINNING SMS PTA FOR 2024-2025!
Support the SMS students and teachers by showing that you value your child’s education by joining the PTA. Memberships start at less than $12 and students are only $5 with a parent membership! As a benefit to members only, you will have access to an online directory as well as PTA member discounts. Student members receive special discounts during our spring and fall socials and have the opportunity to be involved in leadership opportunities.
Plano ISD is implementing Skyward Family Access for parents and students for the 2024–2025 school year.
New student enrollment: Families with students new to Plano ISD can enroll their students by visiting the enrollment webpage.
Annual registration: Families with returning students can sign up for a new Family Access account and start their annual registration. Students with finalized schedules can view them in Family Access starting August 5. For more information, please visit the annual registration webpage.
All volunteers will need to create an account and complete an application, online orientation and background check through the Plano ISD volunteer management system, VOLY, to be eligible for school volunteer opportunities. Please visit plano.voly.org to create a volunteer account and begin this process.
All PTA accounts become inactive on June 30th every year. Upon visiting our website home page after July 1, you will be prompted to update your parent and student information each year. Please click HERE and become a CURRENT contact to keep receiving our e-Newsletter. Please do this ASAP so you don't miss any back to school news and updates from us!
