JOIN THE AWARD-WINNING SMS PTA FOR 2024-2025!
Support the SMS students and teachers by showing that you value your child’s education by joining the PTA. Memberships start at $12 and students are only $6 with a parent membership! As a benefit to members only, you will have access to an online directory as well as PTA member discounts. Student members receive special discounts during our spring and fall socials and have the opportunity to be involved in leadership opportunities. 
Here's a 
Effective on January 17, 2025, a transaction fee of $1.50 will be added (as a separate line item) to the final dollar amount of your online credit card payment. These transaction fees, levied by our vendor, have been historically paid and absorbed by PTA as operating expenses. To maintain our PTA fund as much as possible to support our kids, staff and school, SMS PTA has voted to pass transaction fees through to the payees. You may still choose to pay by cash or check in person to avoid paying the fee.

School Supplies for students in need
All volunteers will need to create an account and complete an application, online orientation and background check through the Plano ISD volunteer management system, VOLY, to be eligible for school volunteer opportunities. Please visit plano.voly.org to create a volunteer account and begin this process.
All PTA accounts become inactive on June 30th every year. Upon visiting our website home page after July 1, you will be prompted to update your parent and student information each year.
