Mrs. Kinard has resumed collecting gift card donations for teachers, staff, and students' appreciation, please donate and sign up (sign up is optional)

Ms. Collins has reached out to the PTA requesting help with donations to teachers' breakfast during STAAR testing week. There will be two breakfasts, on April 17th and May 1st.  Please, sign up to donate breakfast items HERE

Plano ISD Counseling Services invites parents to a workshop dedicated to enhancing the invaluable bond between parents and their children: “Increasing the Parent-Child Connection.” In today's fast-paced world, nurturing meaningful relationships with our children is more important than ever. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore practical strategies and insights aimed at fostering deeper connections with our children, regardless of their age.

You can order school supplies for 2024-2025 now! The kits include exactly what the teachers want students to have. They will be delivered directly to the school in the fall.

The SMS theater department will be presenting their one act play performance of The Post Office, a play adapted by Melissa Leilani Larson, later this week. Showtimes will be on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, 04/11 through 04/13. Each performance will begin at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased at the links below.

Clark Band Show Reveal Party - Friday, 4/19 

Clark Band is having their show reveal for the 2024 Clark Marching Show on Friday, April 19th from 4:30-6 PM!! This is a super fun event that all rising Freshmen of the Clark Band (current eighth graders) will not want to miss! We will have light snacks and the Kona Ice truck on site - a portion of the Kona Ice sales benefit Clark Band.

Clark Band JamFest Concert- Wednesday, 4/24

Clark High School Band is hosting its first ever JamFest concert on Wednesday, April 24th at 6 PM in the Clark Cafeteria! This concert will feature the Clark jazz band and Plano Senior Band chamber music (such as the sax choir and trombone choir). We will also have desserts available for purchase to eat while listening to the students’ beautiful performances (all proceeds will benefit the Clark Band).


Thank you to all of our wonderful students, parents, grandparents, teachers, and volunteers that helped make our Scholastic Book Fair a big success! We raised $1,726.16 for the PTA to give back to students and teachers!

The Westside Carnival will feature numerous booths and games, activities, prizes, food trucks, and more! It's a fantastic opportunity for students and families to come together, enjoy themselves, and support a worthy cause.

 

By participating in the carnival, you'll not only have a blast, but you'll also be contributing to the Solomon Adult Transition Center, making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals in our community.

We encourage you to spread the word and invite your friends, neighbors, and fellow community members to join us for this exciting event. Let's come together as a community to make a positive impact while having a great time!
