Join us for our PTA General Meeting, followed by a Coffee & Chat with Principal Kinnard at 8:30am!
During the PTA meeting, we’ll cover important PTA updates. Afterward, Principal Kinnard will share insights and updates regarding the school, including updates about incoming students from the other middle school campus that is closing next year. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and stay informed!
All are welcome—hope to see you there!

SKI Plano (Supporting Kids in Plano) is the Plano Education Foundations largest fundraiser of the year. Each year they ask that PISD schools consider donating a basket to be auctioned off at SKI Plano. These baskets are a standout feature of the event, showcasing the creativity and generosity of Plano ISD families, PTAs and local businesses.
Schimelpfenig PTA will donate a family game night basket to the auction this year. Please sign up HERE for any fun items that you would like to donate to be added to our basket.
Items other than alcohol can be left in the box labelled game night in the front office by 1/20/25. Please contact me to arrange for alcohol donations.
Thank you, in advance, for your generosity. Our donation will help to fund the many things that the Plano Education Foundation does to support our schools, our staff and our students.

This Friday, December 20 marks the end of the semester. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 7. Have a great break!

I hope this message finds you well. I want to extend my gratitude for your continued support and involvement in our school community.
As we approach the holiday season, our theatre program is excited to announce our annual recycled costume project in class when we return after the winter break. We would greatly appreciate any donations of recycled items, such as cardboard boxes, aluminum cans, plastic bottles, paper, and especially present boxes! These materials will help our students create innovative costumes for their performances.
Please note that the donation collection will close on Friday, JANUARY 10th. A donation center will be set up in the teacher's lounge and grade level offices for your convenience.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to support our students' creativity and sustainability efforts.
Best regards,
Monique Wallace

Lunchapalooza is coming to Panther Country! This special block lunch event will take place on Friday, December 20th. Students can bring $8.00 to the table in the cafeteria during their lunch time to pre-purchase their Lunchapalooza meal. For this amount, a student will receive 2 slices of cheese pizza, a bag of chips, and a soda or a bottle of water. Students are able to buy multiple meals if they would like more pizza. The presale window runs through Friday, December 13th. Students will NOT be able to purchase a Lunchapalooza meal after this date. Sales are cash only. On the day of the event, the lunch line will still be open, and students can still bring their own lunches if they prefer.
If you have questions about Lunchapalooza, please contact David Taylor.
