It is once again time to elect a nominating committee to recommend a slate of officers for the SMS PTA for the 24-25 school year.  Per our bylaws, the nominating committee is comprised of 5 individuals and 2 alternates.  The president and anyone who served on the committee last year is ineligible to serve.  The committee will be elected at our general meeting on 1/25.  Please consider volunteering to develop a slate of recommended officers that will further our mission to support our students, staff and parents. You will receive directions and guidance and the process generally just takes 2 or 3 hours and a couple of meetings to finalize.  Questions can be directed to Terri Childress, Parliamentarian, at terri.childress@att.net.
