PISD Computer Science Summer Bridge Program
Registration for the Plano ISD Computer Science Summer Bridge Program is now open to current 8th graders who will be 9th graders in the Fall 2023.  Students in this program will learn to program solutions while using the Python programming language, learn about careers in computer science, and engage with professionals from the computer science field.  Space is limited.

There will be two sessions offered at no charge to the students.  This program will take place at Williams High School.  Transportation will be provided from middle schools across the district.  

  • June 5 -8, 2023 from 9 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.  (includes 30 minute lunch)

  • June 12-15, 2023 from 9 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.  (includes 30 minute lunch)


Two levels of this program will be offered.  

  • Beginner Level 1 - students who have little to no experience in programming 

  • Novice Level 2 - students who took Fundamentals of Computer Science and/or Python specific camps.
