JOIN THE AWARD-WINNING SMS PTA FOR 2024-2025!
Support the SMS students and teachers by showing that you value your child’s education by joining the PTA. Memberships start at $12 and students are only $6 with a parent membership! As a benefit to members only, you will have access to an online directory as well as PTA member discounts. Student members receive special discounts during our spring and fall socials and have the opportunity to be involved in leadership opportunities.
- Sixteen tickets were sold for SMS at Hawaiian Falls, so $80 was raised for SMS PTA.
- Dr. Perry would like to focus on student and parent education regarding vaping this year.
- Shealine Burks will look into parent education speakers for vaping as well helping students (and parents) handle stress.
- Our PTA will be looking for Student Board members again this year who will provide input for various events such as socials, speakers, and programs. Please be on the look out for more information soon!

- Dr. Perry thanked the PTA for helping with the trip to accept the award for Schools to Watch in D.C.
- Officer Chris is now at SMS! He will visit the 3 feeder schools each day.
