Gateway Engineering Summer Camp
The Gateway Engineering Summer Camp is a hands-on, project-based camp designed to introduce incoming 7th and 8th grade middle school students to the fundamentals of STEM and Project Lead the Way (PLTW) engineering courses within Plano ISD. Certified PLTW instructors provide expert instruction in a fun, exciting environment using leading-edge technologies to sample engineering related activities and projects and get a taste of how fun it can be to be an engineer.

Book Fair Volunteers Needed!
 
 

 

Book Fair is right around the corner!  It will be the week of February 27- March 3. Friday, February 24 help is needed to set up the fair. Open House is Monday night, February 27. Click here to see times and dates.

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) applications for the 23-24 school year are now open! It closes on March 22nd.

Book Fair
Mark your calendars!! Book Fair will run 2/27/23 - 3/3/23! Open house will be the evening of Monday 2/27.
We will need volunteers so stay tuned for sign-up opportunities.

The PTA is in need of volunteers for several different committees;

1) 5 member volunteers and 2 alternates, to review the PTA ByLaws and Standing rules!

2) 3 member volunteers and 2 alternates to form the Election Nominating Committee for 2023-24 SMS PTA board members.
