Submitting your entries
Reflections 2023 - 2024 theme: I Am Hopeful Because... If you have not started already, now is the time to be working on your Reflections projects! The deadline to submit your entries is OCTOBER 31st to the front office along with the entry form! If you have any questions please email Deanna Herrmann at reflections@smspta.org
What happens after I submit my entry?
Once entries are submitted judging will occur. Judging will be done by outside art experts, and they will not have access to participants’ information. Award of Excellence entries move on to Plano ISD Council of PTAs Reflections.
A Special Artists division celebrates student artists with special needs. Selected entries are then sent on to councils and then districts for consideration.
The final artworks submitted to TEXAS State PTA by districts are then considered for Outstanding Interpretation, Awards of Excellence or Awards of Merit. Outstanding Interpretation and Award of Excellence entries then go on to represent TEXAS in the final National PTA judging round.
Visit the 2022-2023 Reflections Gallery to see examples of entries from last year.
